  • Overview

    The individual in this position is responsible for contributing to a ‘Safety First’ culture by adhering to company safety polices and work practices. The areas of responsibility include support and maintenance of Micro Pumpers (MP), Bulk Trucks and Bulk Equipment delivery systems. 




    • Regularly conduct maintenance operations on all bulk fleet operating systems
    • Ability to overhaul / recondition hydraulic components including pumps, solenoids, valving, hose and pipe assemblies
    • Technical and mechanical ability with proficiency use of all hand tools, machinery and testing equipment associated with hydraulic servicing
    • Provide training on company bulk equipment; Micro Pumpers (MP), bulk pump trucks and bulk blend plant operations
    • Able to diagnose ‘system’ problems and plan the sequence of repairs
    • Provide trouble shooting advice and updates via phone or at a job site to bulk drivers / operators
    • Effectively communicate existing maintenance issues to supervision
    • Serve as liaison with divisional / department staff to support operational schedules
    • Provide ‘back-up’ driving services for CDL B drivers and bulk loading activities as needed
    • To complete work and records according to the appropriate procedure
    • To share knowledge and skills, and give advice to co-workers for the betterment of production
    • Able to follow directions from supervision and to stay aligned with task times
    • Able to interact effectively with co-workers
    • Other duties as assigned


    • Valid CDL A/B License with HAZMAT and Tank endorsement (or ability to obtain)
    • Mechanical maintenance background, operating systems experience desired
    • One -Two years of system operations
    • Ability to demonstrate ‘team work’ participation and safety priority
    • Self motivated  

    Job Requirements

    • Ability to lift 50 - 80lbs
    • Work on uneven and loose surfaces
    • Stooping and bending 40 – 50% of the time
    • Occasional out of town travel and overtime required
    • Maintain basic tools along with diagnostic equipment to perform daily functions
