The individual in this position will be responsible for maintaining a ‘Safety First’ culture on all activities performed by the mobilization staff. Ensures that all company safety polices and practices are followed. Will supervise equipment mobilization activities and drivers. Will ensure that travel directions are provided for the most optimal routes.


    • Promote work safety practices and lead by example.
    • Plan, organize, or manage the work of staff to ensure the work is accomplished in a manner consistent with organizational requirements.
    • Conduct employee training on subjects such as employee orientation, load securement, drill movement and company policies.
    • Monitor spending to ensure expenses are consistent with approved budgets.
    • Review driver’s paperwork, contractor invoicing and daily log sheets before submitting for acceptance.
    • Utilize GPS tracking systems for fleet accountability, security and routing.
    • Operate computer aided software and communication equipment.
    • Establish dispatching schedules to meet delivery needs.
    • Procure contractor services for additional low bed needs as required.
    • Assure all permitting is obtained; oversize or explosive permits.
    • Provide ongoing training to improve overall service standards.
    • Manages for compliance to DOT regulations.
    • Other duties as assigned.


  • Associates degree in business or equivalent experience desired.
  • General industry knowledge preferred, not required.
  • Prior supervisory experience preferred, not required.
  • Excellent time management skills that result in optimal productivity.
  • Good problem solving skills, written and oral communications skills.
  • Solid PC skills with thorough understanding of database and spreadsheet applications
  • Self-starter with solid organizational skills.
  • The ability to interact and work successfully with a wide variety of groups and individuals, always presenting a professional demeanor, and positively representing MD&B. This includes the ability to manage conflict, to achieve win-win solutions, and to assure that all problem resolutions represent the best interests of both the customer and the company as a whole.



Job Requirements

  • Ability to perform essential functions of the position.
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs.
  • Office work environment.
  • Out of town/state travel and overtime may be required.
  • Ability to supervise and evaluate performance of CDL drivers.
